Cycle touring

La Flèche is an unmissable stopover that proves very popular with cyclists.

The town is situated at the crossroads of two national cycle routes: "La Sarthe à vélo" V44 and "La vallée de la Loir à vélo" V47.

The town is off the beaten track but has a rich historical & environmental heritage and a wide range of facilities geared towards cyclists.

Several local routes have also been developed by the Vallée de la Loir tourist office.

In 2015, La Flèche was awarded the Territoire vélo label by the Fédération Française de Cyclotoursime, a distinction which was renewed in 2018 for a further 3 years, guaranteeing cyclists high-quality hospitality, services and facilities specifically adapted to cyclists.

Camping de la Route d'Or has had an Accueil vélo point at Camping de la Route d'Or since 2014 where bikes are also available for hire.
